Cirlces Definition for Math - a plane figure bounded by a single curved line, every point of which is equally distant from the point at the center of the figure. Here are some examples of when we see circles are: wheels, the surface of coins, buttons, CDs, soda bottle caps. Sme examples of when we use a circle is for wheels on a bike, wheels on a car, the odometer of a car, the circumfrance of a circular tire, a basketball, a soccer ball, a baseball, a, tire, an eye, ect.

Also, here are some activities you can try. The first activity is to prove that every point in a circle is the same distance from the point to the center. The second activity all you have to do is avoid the blue circles and get to the other side. Enjoy!

A circle consist of many things including the diameter, radius, and the circumfrance. The diameter is the the length of a straight line through the center of an object from one side to another. The radius is the length of a line segment between the center and circumference of a circle or sphere. The circumference is like the rim around a circle. For example the rim around a drum is its circumfrance.
Circles are simple closed curves which divide the plane into two regions, an interior and an exterior.
